My husband took this picture of me last summer on a weekend trip to New York. We enjoyed iced coffees as we walked whimsically in and out of the shops. Looking into this window, I noticed 4 older ladies smiling and enjoying each other’s company and couldn’t help wonder what they were chatting about. The coffee shop is the place I go for “me time.” It is here where I dream, discover, set goals, release, rejoice, and renew. Over the past 20 years, I have deepened my relationship with God as I’ve journaled in these shops. He has proven his faithfulness to me through the ups and downs of life – providing the strength needed for every phase of my journey. My discoveries have been life-giving and I wanted to share them with you.
